RATNAKAR INN - Kolkata
Client: Harshad Kundalia       The challenge was to adapt a three storied residential building into a three star guest house, with a shoestring budget. I was briefed to accommodate 6 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms within 2000 sq. ft. on each floor, inclusive of the staircase. The minimalistic furniture for the rooms was designed to make the room look large, without compromising on the number of facilities - a double bed, side shelves, wardrobe, television, worktable, full length mirror. The terrace was converted into a covered dining space, with a kitchen and toilet. The ground floor accommodated a reception, store room, toilet and a gathering area.
