STARMARK - Book Store, City Center , Kolkata
Client: Emami Frank Ross Ltd, Kolkata 

Designed standardized, machine made, book racks that can be adapted for the display of books of varying heights and widths - from popular fiction to coffee table books. The ergonomic racks with a curved profile, finished with a dark-wood-look laminate to give the store its distinctive identity and an air of elegance. The high wall racks arranged into alcoves, maximize display space, each alcove displaying a particular genre of books, giving the browser a feeling of privacy. A series of merchandise specific island racks, of 4 feet height, were designed to occupy the central areas. The display systems and the identity has been replicated in other Starmark stores, as intended.
